Supervision Sessions

Enhance your therapeutic skills and deepen your understanding of trauma and attachment work with specialized supervision at the Trauma and Attachment Institute.

On this page we'll cover:

What Is Supervision and Who Is It For?

Our supervision sessions are designed to provide licensed associate professional counselors (LAPCs) and other emerging professionals with the support, guidance, and confidence they need to build a thriving, ethical practice.

As part of the state licensure requirements, LAPCs generally complete 100 hours of supervised training, often over a two-year period. Supervision sessions focus on strengthening your practice through weekly, one-on-one guidance that helps you navigate ethical considerations, develop case conceptualization skills, and cultivate a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to client care.

Why Supervision at the Trauma and Attachment Institute?

Our supervision is rooted in an attachment and trauma-informed lens, emphasizing not only client care but also therapist wellness. We believe that thriving practitioners make ethical, high-quality providers. In addition to skill-building and case analysis, sessions include discussions around therapist resilience, self-awareness, and self-care, helping you sustain a balanced and fulfilling practice while avoiding burnout. This supportive, quality-focused environment ensures you’re equipped to meet the nuances of client care with compassion and confidence.
